DOT and Flood Control – HVAC Upgrades

Owner: Maricopa County

In downtown Phoenix, Maricopa County officials needed our help with an HVAC renovation project that involved retrofitting two complete central plants in neighboring buildings. The scope of the project included replacing all the chillers, towers, pumps, as well as removing and replacing 180,000 CFM worth of air handlers and 160 VAV boxes. Additionally, we cleaned each building’s ductwork, and made necessary electrical infrastructure upgrades. Over the course of 18 months, we were able to complete our work around the county employees’ schedules to enable the buildings to remain occupied daily.
