Pueblo Tucson Introduces a New Safety Training Initiative

Whether we are working on our property or building within a client’s facility, our goal is to keep our employees, our clients, and their customers safe. That is the mission behind our new Hands-On Safety Training Initiative. Designed to strengthen our safety culture even more, we’re making sure employees possess the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform safely in specific areas. Through the paring of foundational classroom instruction and hands-on training, employees are gaining real-world experience that encompasses Forklift Operator, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Excavation Competent Person, Scaffold-User Competent Person, Qualified Rigger, and Signal Person.

This initiative supports Pueblo’s commitment to reducing injuries, near misses, and property damage, while ensuring OSHA compliance and the promotion of continuous improvement throughout all operations. By standardizing our training across all divisions and job sites, before employees perform high-risk work independently, we’re increasing confidence when conducting hazardous tasks and reinforcing hazard recognition and safe work practices.
